The difficulties confronting single-parent members are enormous. While coping with the obstacles that all Yotzim face, they must struggle to raise children in secure emotional and physical environments, while fighting for right of custody, or in some cases, for minimal contact. In addition, they work towards securing educations and developing careers.  Hillel provides increased assistance to our single-families in all areas, and free legal consultation and representation in family court.  In addition, fun social activities, events and weekends provide much needed respite for parents, while providing children with an opportunity to meet others their age that are living between two worlds.
