Military or National Service provide Yotzim with an opportunity to interact with other Israelis from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and to contribute to society as citizens with equal rights and obligations.   Most of those who serve do not receive support from their families throughout their service, and Hillel offers accompaniment and support during this period, off-base housing, food vouchers and special disbursements throughout the year.
