Applying for Scholarships

The Scholarships Committee invites yotzim to submit written applications for aid. After the Committee screens applications to identify the neediest and/or worthiest cases, some of the applicants will be invited to a personal interview.

Scholarships will be granted only to applicants who qualify on the following grounds:

    (1) An applicant must have joined Hillel at least a year before submitting his or her application.

    (2) An applicant must  study in an educational institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education, Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

Scholarships are paid in three staggered installments, during which time Hillel administrators monitor the educational progress of scholarship recipients.
