Funding
Like many non-profit organizations, Hillel has no guaranteed sources of funding and depends on yearly fund-raising for its budget. We plan to build Endowment Funds that will give us financial stability, particularly for scholarship aid and the hostel program.
We welcome financial contributions of any size.

We have started a Hillel Sponsors Program in Israel for donors who wish to support our work on a regular basis.

Host families
Please contact us if you are willing to be a host family and provide a warm and supportive environment for our newcomers, where they can feel safe while adjusting to their new world.
The arrangement can be short or long-term, or on a part-time basis (hosting soldiers on leave, for example). We are always in need of more volunteer families for this crucial contribution to Hillel.
Volunteers
Hillel needs volunteers for all its activities. Please contact us if you would like to join any of the following programs:
0 The Open
Line.
0 Mentors for new arrivals.
0 Psychological support: We need psychologists and social workers for assessment, individual counseling and support groups. We welcome expert help to advise our host families program and our hostel staff.
0 Education: We need teachers for private tutoring, counseling and other activities.
0 The Weekend Meetings and cultural activities: We need administrative personnel, guides for field trips and volunteers for liaison with libraries, theatre groups and cinemateques.
0 Fund-raising, publicity and administration: We are in need of volunteers with organizational experience in these fields.
0 Preparation of written material in English and Hebrew. If you enjoy writing in either language, translating from one to the other or preparing material for our Newsletters, please contact us.
